Maar als Jozef de uitleg van God ontving, dan is het niet Jozef die wijs is, maar God. Waarom geeft de farao Jozef dan zoveel eer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rabbi Yaakov Kranz, de Maggid van Dubno, verduidelijkte dit aan de hand van een van zijn beroemde gelijkenissen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a>Er was een zeer rijke koopman die een hoge belasting aan de gemeente moest betalen. De koopman vond de belasting onterecht en ging naar de belastingcommissie om te klagen. Hij vertelde hen dat de goederen in zijn pakhuis eigenlijk niet van hem waren, omdat hij ze op krediet had ontvangen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De betrokkene antwoordde dat niemand hem zoveel goederen op krediet zou hebben gegeven, tenzij hij een zeer rijk persoon was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toen de farao Jozef vroeg zijn dromen te interpreteren, zei hij: Dat gaat mijn pet te boven.
