De rest van de olie in elke olijf mocht echter wel gebruikt worden voor de offergaven, aangezien die niet dezelfde mate van zuiverheid vereisten. Waarom dit verschil?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sommige <a><\/a>Leg uit dat het licht van de Menora de Tora vertegenwoordigt (Spreuken 6:23), terwijl de offergaven het fysieke levensonderhoud, het levensonderhoud en de materi\u00eble behoeften symboliseren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als het gaat om de Tora en onze spirituele zoektocht, moeten we onszelf tot het uiterste drijven en het hoogst mogelijke niveau nastreven.
