De letter vav in dit woord wordt in een Thorarol altijd vergroot weergegeven. Het is toevallig de middelste letter in de hele Thora, het middelpunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De betekenis van vav in het Hebreeuws is &#039;haak&#039;. De letter heeft inderdaad de vorm van een haak. De vav is ook de letter in het Hebreeuwse alfabet die als voegwoord wordt gebruikt \u2013 het betekent &#039;en&#039;. We verbinden twee Hebreeuwse woorden door de letter vav aan het begin en einde van een woord te plaatsen. <a><\/a>begin van het tweede woord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hieruit leren we dat de kern, de essentie, het hart van de Tora wordt weergegeven door de letter vav, wat &#039;verbinding&#039; betekent. Het hele doel van de Tora is verbinding.
