Alles heeft immers zijn plaats, en op die plaats is het goede. Er is alleen \u00e9\u00e9n probleem: het is donker. In het donker is het onmogelijk om de plaats van alles te vinden. Je weet niet wat in de kast hoort, klaar voor gebruik, en wat in de wasmand hoort, wachtend om gewassen te worden. Dus wat gewassen en voor het goede gebruikt kan worden, wordt veracht als iets verwerpelijks, en wat volkomen goed is, wordt voor het kwade gebruikt. De Torah is het licht: zij vertelt ons de plaats van alles.
