Als de put leeg was, had hij geen water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De Talmoed suggereert dat er inderdaad geen water was, maar wel slangen en schorpioenen! (Traktaat Sjabbat 22a)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hier ligt een belangrijke les voor ons. Water staat symbool voor Torah. Het is gevaarlijk om onze spirituele tanks leeg te laten lopen. De natuur verafschuwt een vacu\u00fcm. Als onze geest niet gevuld is met Tora - zal hij gevuld raken met negativiteit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als we onszelf vullen met Tora en positieve spirituele gedachten, zal er geen ruimte zijn voor duisternis. De Kotzker Rebbe zou zeggen dat hij zonde niet zozeer vermijdt omdat het verkeerd is, maar omdat er geen tijd voor is.
