{"id":24991,"date":"2026-09-09T17:12:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T16:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sukkatshalom-bneinoach.com\/?p=24991"},"modified":"2026-09-09T17:12:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T16:12:00","slug":"rosh-hashanah-the-renewal-of-creation-and-divine-kingship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sukkatshalom-bneinoach.com\/nl\/rosh-hashanah-the-renewal-of-creation-and-divine-kingship\/","title":{"rendered":"ROSH HASHANAH \u2013 DE VERNIEUWING VAN DE SCHEPPING EN HET GODDELIJKE KONINGSCHAP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u05d1\u05e1\"\u05d3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Van alle feestdagen van het jaar heeft Rosj Hasjana een unieke en universele betekenis voor de hele mensheid. Rosj Hasjana markeert geen nationale of historische gebeurtenis die specifiek is voor \u00e9\u00e9n natie. Het is de dag waarop alle bewoners van de aarde worden geoordeeld voor de Schepper van het universum. Het is een oude Joodse gewoonte om zoetigheden te eten \u2013 en een appel in honing te dopen \u2013 als teken van een goed en zoet jaar (Noachieten kunnen deze gewoonte ook volgen, maar het is niet verplicht). Hoe kunnen we zoetigheden eten en ons verheugen op deze feestdag, terwijl we weten dat alle bewoners van de wereld op deze dag worden geoordeeld?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosj Hasjana betekent letterlijk &quot;Hoofd van het Jaar&quot;, niet &quot;Nieuwjaar&quot;. Net zoals het hoofd en de hersenen elk orgaan in het lichaam aansturen, zo oefenen ons bewustzijn, onze gebeden, onze vastberadenheid en onze daden op deze dag een doorslaggevende invloed uit op alle dagen van het komende jaar. De dagelijkse routine en de problemen van het jaar doen ons soms vergeten waarvoor we op aarde zijn gekomen. Onze focus op Rosj Hasjana zou in de eerste plaats een vastberaden besluit moeten zijn om God in het komende jaar nog dieper en met meer vreugde te dienen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De kroning van de koning is het hoogtepunt van Rosj Hasjana. Net als bij de kroning van een koning van vlees en bloed, wordt de vreugde dan ook op allerlei manieren geuit, waaronder het eten van zoetigheden. Deze symbolische gerechten drukken ons gebed en onze hoop uit dat God ons een goed en zoet jaar zal schenken. Wanneer we ons richten op het positieve, op de kroning van de koning en goede voornemens maken voor het komende jaar, heeft dit alles een doorslaggevende invloed op het oordeel. Het versterkt de hoop dat ons oordeel in barmhartigheid zal zijn. We vertrouwen erop dat Hasjem ons een grote overvloed zal geven voor het nieuwe jaar, zodat we onze rol in de wereld kunnen vervullen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De Tanya (Igeret HaKodesh, hoofdstuk 14) legt uit dat op Rosj Hasjana de hele wereld een diepgaande vernieuwing ondergaat. Op de avond voor Rosj Hasjana trekken de goddelijke energie en vitaliteit die de schepping ondersteunen zich terug naar hun bron. Het voortbestaan van het universum hangt af van Gods hernieuwde wil om het bestaan van de wereld op elk moment te behouden. Deze goddelijke wil wordt opnieuw gewekt wanneer we Zijn koningschap op Rosj Hasjana aanvaarden. Het erkennen van Gods koningschap is een uiting van de eerste van de zeven Noachitische wetten: het verbod op afgoderij en het geloof in de absolute eenheid van de Schepper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosj Hasjana is een Joodse feestdag, maar heeft desondanks betekenis voor ieder mens. Rosj Hasjana laat ons in die zin onze ware, positieve en verheven rol zien: God tot Koning kronen. Rosj Hasjana is een tijd van oprecht gebed waarin we God de Almachtige vragen om al Zijn schepselen een jaar van vrede, voorspoed, gezondheid en zegen te schenken. Maar naast ontzag en respect is het ook een dag van grote vreugde waarin we ons geloof in de Schepper vieren en het voorrecht om Hem te dienen.
