בס”ד

David had many nice things.

He had a nice home.
Good food.
Beautiful toys.

David was happy.

But one day he thought:
“I have all of this because of me!”

He became proud.

He did not want to share anything.

Then his father said:
“David, do not forget: everything we have comes from G-d.”

David thought about it.

He looked at his beautiful toys.

His friend came over.
“Can I play too?” he asked.

At first, David wanted to say no.

But then he thought:
“If G-d gives me a lot, I can also use it to do something good.”

“Yes!” said David. “Come, let’s play together.”

David understood.

Having a lot is a blessing.

But it is also a test.

You can become proud and forget G-d.

Or you can be thankful and help others.

Lesson:

Everything we have is a gift from G-d.

Do not be proud. Be thankful.

Use what you have to do good things and help others.
