13 Principles of Torah-based Faith that were enumerated by Rambam (Maimonides):
7. I fully believe that Moses was the true Prophet, who has never had or will never have his match.
At Mount Sinai, the entire Jewish people witnessed G-d speak openly to Moses. It is on the basis of this testimony of an entire people, that we recognize that Moses is the true Prophet of G-d and that the Torah and the words spoken by Moses are of Divine origin. It was G-d Himself who said to Moses, “I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people will hear when I speak with you and will also believe in you forever.”
And G-d spoke all the Words to Moses and gave to him the Written and Oral Torah, to pass on to the Jewish people, and the 7 Laws from Noah to the nations. G-d announced that He would never send a Prophet to change the commandments in the Torah, and thus the commandments were sealed, including the 7 Laws from Noah. Anyone who takes away or adds words/commandments to the Torah is a false prophet, and any group or religion who claims that there is a greater Prophet than Moses or who claims that the Torah has been discarded or replaced must remember what G-d Himself said about Moses and about the Torah and repent.
